Over the summer months, outside of the hunting season, there are plenty of Open shows for plummer terriers at some of the larger country fairs and gamefairs as well as the small working terrier shows. These will be advertised well in advance on the site. Watch this space for forthcoming events and news.

• Northumberland & Durham Working Terrier Club 38th Annual Terrier & Lurcher Show
  11 May 2008 at 12 noon, The Sports Field, Blanchland, Co Durham (B6306 or B6278). All Major Qualifiers, FREE admission to show. Plummer Terrier Classes. As the gate entry is free there will be classes for pups with docked tails

• Lincolnshire Game Fair, Market Rasen, first weekend in May 2008
  
• Great Yorkshire Show July 2008
  Schedule available in April 2008 OPEN adult dog and bitch class. Pre-entry only closing date for entries 16 May 2008.
  
• Moorgreen Show, Monday 25 August 2008 this year are trying to promote the Plummer Terrier .a Puppy Class ,Plummer Dog ,Plummer Bitch,finally Best in Breed with a Trophy to keep .Held on Monday August 25th Moorgreen Country Show near Watnall Notts .Details 01773 711767.
• The Midland Game Fair Sunday 21 September 2008, Weston Park, Shropshire, TF11 8LE. For the very first time this will be an Independent Open Show for all Plummer Terriers with no restrictions.
  
• Rockingham Castle Game Fair, 12 October 2008
• Wolsingham Agricultural Show, Wolsingham, County Durham, Sunday 7 September 2008. Further details to follow.
