Over the summer months, outside of the hunting season, there are plenty of Open shows for plummer terriers at some of the larger country fairs and gamefairs as well as the small working terrier shows. These will be advertised well in advance on the site. Watch this space for forthcoming events and news.

  11 May 2008 at 12 noon, The Sports Field, Blanchland, Co Durham (B6306 or B6278). All Major Qualifiers, FREE admission to show. Plummer Terrier Classes. As the gate entry is free there will be classes for pups with docked tails

• The Midland Game Fair Sunday 21 September 2008, Weston Park, Shropshire, TF11 8LE. For the very first time this will be an Independent Open Show for all Plummer Terriers with no restrictions
