Wolsingham Show 2007

The first plummer terrier show at Wolsingham was held in 2006 with a proviso that it would only happen again if the numbers were large enough to warrent plummer classes. The response was phenominal and a significant amount of plummers turned up at Weardale's picturesque Wolsingham Agricultural show, said to be the oldest agricultural show in the Country.  Due to the success of the 2006 show plummer terrier classes at Wolsingham are now to be a regular occurance.

The show on 2 September 2007 saw an even larger turnout of plummer terriers, nearly double the amount of plummers to jack russell terriers, amazing in an area that had never seen a plummer terrier until recent times.

Judge for the day was Mr Iain Dixon. Below are some of the pictures taken of the show.

There were some excellent examples of plummer terriers at the show, from all the different breed clubs, and all parts of the country. Best in Show was awarded to Mr I Marshall's "Oakfield Blade", with Mr S Jone's "Wyremead Jay" in Reserve. Best puppy was awarded to Mr Coopers dog pup, "Brimar Harvey".
